Put on a couple coats of lipstick. Blot them. I suggest using a bright pink lipstick to show off the print. MAC's Impassioned (originally 'girl about town') lipstick. It's a bright fusia.
Make sure the lipstick is what you want and how you want it. Then take a small, very stiff brush and pick up some black cream eyeliner. I suggest Loreal H.I.P. Truth cream Liner.
  1. Start at the bottom and work your way across. Make little shapes like 'C's and 'O's and squiggles. Vary the pattern.
  2. Seal the lip with a sealant. I would use Benefit She-laq.
  3. Now you have sexy leopard lips!

Get the Look: Miranda Cosgrove at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards

Miranda Cosgrove. I know she's better known as iCarly these days, but I'll always think of her as mini-mogul Summer Hathaway from School of Rock!

Anyhow, Miranda was looking fresh-faced (and age-appropriate) at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. Makeup artist Coleen Campbell-Olwell used Neutrogena products to create her "summery, fresh" look. She used shimmers and coppers to complement Miranda's coral dress (and of course, since we're dealing with Neutrogena here, lots of sunscreen to protect her skin on the red carpet!).

Check out Coleen's step-by-step guide to Miranda's look:
  • "I used Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50, which can be worn alone or under make-up since it’s so lightweight.

  • I then applied Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup in Natural Ivory and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfecter to even out her tone and make her eyes really pop.

  • To finish off the base and prevent shine, I dusted on Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Pressed Powder, in Fair.

  • For this special evening, I really wanted Miranda to look luminous, so I swirled Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush and Bronzer Duo in Posie Glow on the apples of her cheeks.

  • Then, to make Miranda’s eyes really sparkle, I used Neutrogena’s Nourishing Eye Quad in Copper Glow. I blended the bronze shade along the top lid and highlighted the inner corners of her eyes and brow bone.

  • Then I lined the top lid with Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Brushed Pewter, which goes on very smoothly and never tugs. To maximize the effect of the shimmer, I coated her lashes with Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara in Black.

  • Finally, to add a kiss of coral – light, shiny, and effervescent – I used Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother in Glisten, which also has SPF 20."

Get the Emmy Look: Lea Michele

The lovely Lea Michele sported a 'do by celebrity stylist Mark Townsend at the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards, and while I wish it was a bit more "done," I'm loving the fact that she's wearing a couple of strategically placed hairpieces to add those caramel highlights! "Lea wanted her hair to look touchable and super modern, and full hair with lots of volume and a bit of roughness was perfect against her flawless gown” said Mark. To get Lea's wavy locks, check out Mark's tips below:
  • "Lea’s look started with clean hair. She used Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner to give softness and smoothness in the time it takes to use a conditioner.

  • The end-of-Summer timing of the Emmys is a perfect opportunity to play with color. Lea is still shooting episodes of “Glee” and we couldn’t do anything permanent, so I added in a few custom pieces of hair to add dimension and give her removable highlights for the evening. The result was a golden/coppery effect throughout the ends of her hair.

  • I wanted Lea’s hair to move in all different directions, so I added in Dove Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse throughout damp her and blow dried with a round brush to add lift.

  • Next spray 3 inch sections of hair with Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist to protect hair against heat styling damage before using an iron.

  • Then use a 2 inch curling iron to give a subtle bend or ‘S’ curl, rather than a perfect curl. Curl from the ends all the way up, and set each section with a barrel clip for 5 to 7 minutes or until cool.

  • Scrunch hair with Dove Daily Moisture Therapy Replenishing Mist to add moisture and blow dry briefly without a diffuser to look a bit undone.

  • Warm a pea-sized amount of Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream between the palms of hands. Rake fingers through hair to distribute product evenly for shiny, modern texture.

  • To evoke Brigitte Bardot inspiration, tease hair at the crown for extra volume and lift.

  • To finish Lea’s look I sprayed Dove Unscented Extra Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement (Aerosol) liberally on a small, natural bristle eyebrow brush (the kind that looks like a wooden toothbrush) and ran it through her bangs to hold a middle part. The parted bangs gave a modern update to the 60’s vibe of her hair.

  • I gave Lea a 2 oz. Dove Extra Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement and the natural eyebrow brush to take with her in case she needed a touchup.”

Get the Emmy Look: Tina Fey

Tina Fey in a sexy smokey eye...loving it! Makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua was inspired by "Tina's beautiful eyes and black beaded overlay dress," and created this smoldering look, offset by soft lips and cheeks. Kara's tips:
  • "he focus was on Tina’s eyes and beautiful skin. I prepped with Jurlique Rose Water and the new CHANEL Sublimage Concentrate.

  • We kept her lips fresh and moist with the beautiful CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Insolence, and CHANEL Precision Lip Definer in Praline d'Or.

  • On her cheeks I used a bit of CHANEL Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Rose.

  • On her eyelids, I used the darker shade in CHANEL Eyeshadow Duo in Gris-Subtil, extended out and up. Finally, I finished her eyes with the new CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Purple. It has a slight plum tone that compliments Tina's eyes, hair, and skin tone... This mascara is my new favorite... Lengthens and thickens like crazy!"
